Emeritus
Emeritus is a health protection plan designed specifically for residents of Canada age 50 and over. Applicants may choose from three levels of health protection under this plan, ranging from essential primary hospital and medical coverage, to a comprehensive scope of benefits that includes prescription drugs and dental care. Once enrolled in the plan, both the Member and their Spouse may continue to be covered under the plan as there are no age limits. Plan participants must be covered by the Government Health Insurance Plan (GHIP) in their province of residence.

- Emergency Travel - charges incurred to a medical emergency within the first 30 days of a trip for a person under age 65, or the first 10 days of a trip for a person age 65 and over.
- Semi-Private Hospital - maximum $150/day for up to 60 days/calendar year.
- Vision Care Services - maximum of $100 every 24 months, plus eye exams up to $50.
- Private Duty Nursing - maximum of $1,500 every 12 months.
- Hearing Aids - maximum of $300 every 60 months.

- Private Duty Nursing - maximum of $2,000 every 12 months.
- Hearing Aids - maximum of $500 every 60 months.
- Prescription Drugs - $0 deductible, 90% reimbursement.

- Dental Benefits - $0 deductible, 80% reimbursement, $1,000 per person.
