Our Standards of Accountability
Certified Membership Application Form
"It is important to The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association ministry that we remain transparent in our activities and that our donors can count on our stewardship of the resources they provide. Having the 4C's certification clearly demonstrates our desire to have accountability outside of our organization for the high standards our donors expect and deserve. Through having the certification we can direct our donors and enquirers to the published standards of this independent organization that we must measure up to in order to obtain certification. Having that seal on all of our communications adds an external credibility to our own stated values. In these days of numerous instances of misrepresentation and fraud throughout different corporations and not for profits it is comforting for donors to know that we value them enough to seek external verification of our process and procedure."
Kevin Stagg

"World Relief Canada believes that it is very important to operate with the highest degree of integrity. However for this to be valuable to our donors we must be able to demonstrate it. The CCCC's Seal with its rigorous audit is the best way for us to do that. We communicate the fact that we have the Seal and strongly believe that this is a key reason why our donors place a great deal of confidence in giving to our ministry."
Laurie Cook
President, World Relief Canada
"Certification: When we were setting up the Canadian National Christian Foundation there was never any question on our minds but that we needed to be a certified member of CCCC. I believe it's important that a donor can feel comfortable that all is in order with the public foundation they have chosen to donate through. When a prospective donor of CNCF comes to us and asks us about the financial integrity of a charity they are considering a gift to, the first place we go is to see if that charity is a member of CCCC. Benefits: The executive of the Canadian National Christian Foundation have found the annual conferences and other training opportunities at CCCC to be very beneficial. I believe it also helps us as public foundation to have the CCCC seal on all of our material indicating to a donor that someone outside our organization is checking on us regularly."
Lorne Jackson
President, Canadian National Christian Foundation

We believe being accountable assists us in attaining that goal. Certification demonstrates to our partners that we are complying with the high standards of governance and financial practice set by the Council. Providing donors confidence we are using their gifts wisely and with integrity."

"We have been a member of the 4-C's from very early on. We are certified because we understand that integrity and accountability have never been more important in Christian work. I think we have benefited in two significant ways: 1. Professional expertise on the 1001 complexities of charities law in Canada is only a phone call or email away. This gives us great confidence in knowing that we are attending to accounting and donor issues, not only in a legal way, but in the best way we can as a Christian charity. 2. It gives our donors, particularly new ones, great confidence in knowing that our financial house is in order both before external auditors, and peers in Christian ministry."
Ron Fraser
President, Alberta Bible College
"The younger donors are changing the profile of our donor base. They are looking more at accountability and good stewardship within a Charity before they make an informed commitment. We now feel part of a large membership that provides a very useful resource in a business environment that is becoming more complex."
Richard Everest
CFO, Canadian Food for the Hungry International
