About Philip

Philip is the Associate Director, Legal Affairs at CCCC. He joined CCCC after practising law at a large regional law firm in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. He provides legal guidance, consultation, and advice to senior leadership and technical team members on a comprehensive range of charity, tax and trust law issues. Philip earned degrees in philosophy and religious studies (BA, Memorial University of Newfoundland), applied ethics (DAE, Memorial University of Newfoundland) and law (JD, University of New Brunswick). Philip is past chair of the Newfoundland and Labrador Branch of the Canadian Bar Association Administrative Law Section, former Executive Member of the Ontario Bar Association Charity and Not-for-profit Law Section and is a board member of Christian Legal Fellowship.
