In this position, you’ll support the CEO’s leadership of CCCC by working on assigned projects primarily related to strategy, organizational health, and new program design within an organization that is focused on helping Christian charities to be exemplary, healthy, and effective.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:
Plan and implement follow-up work as assigned related to vision, strategy, organizational health, and commitments made to the board.

Research and prepare new program/service proposals as assigned, including program rationale, business cases, journey maps, project requirements, and initial design possibilities.  May lead the development of a new program/service.

Think and strategize from an innovative and creative perspective to assist (with others) the CEO in rounding out organizational vision and strategy, with a special focus on mission success among younger ministry leaders.

Represent the CEO to internal and external audiences in promoting or advancing the CEO’s agenda, and represent CCCC as an organization to external audiences. Facilitate internal and external meetings related to generative discussions, problem-solving, and consultation related to the CEO’s work.

Competent project manager
You are experienced in managing and implementing multiple projects simultaneously. You work best in a collaborative team environment and are able to influence positive business outcomes without direct authority.

Strategic thinker
You are a proven strategic thinker who has found innovative ways to accomplish personal or organizational goals. Critical thinking, lateral thinking, and an ability to think conceptually at a macro level are areas in which you do well.

Excellent researcher
Your research skills include conducting literature reviews, surveys, focus groups, and interviews. You are a continuous learner, with the demonstrated ability to synthesize new information quickly to formulate recommendations and make good decisions.

Skilled writer and presenter
You have superb writing skills in a wide range of styles (e.g., formal/informal, scholarly/narrative), for a range of channels (e.g., social media, websites, courses, magazines). You are a strong speaker, presenter, and facilitator who is effective in making formal/informal presentations and facilitating group discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate business degree that emphasizes strategy and critical analysis or an undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • Credentials with an Evangelical denomination. Theological education would greatly enhance the potential for success.
  • Significant volunteer or staff experience in a Christian ministry.

LOCATION
This position will work out of CCCC’s office in Elmira, ON.
