Leading From Your Knees

This full-day course will provide you with a time of spiritual refreshment and practical teaching. Our day will focus on the concept of Presence-Based Leadership. We will discuss BEing vs. DOing, listening prayer, and forms of worship. There will be time to respond to God through worship and prayer in His presence.

Engaging Media: With purpose and without fear

Are you wrestling with the best way to communicate your organization’s Christian identity, purposes, and activities? Do you want to be fearless in sharing your message on the evening news? On

social media? Or with bloggers? This two-day pre-conference session will prepare you to lead your organization in integrated engagement with both traditional and social media—preparing you to face even the most knee-knocking interviews with purpose and skill.

Part 1 will explore the media, approaches to messaging, social media, and the media ecosystem. Part 2 will cover strategies for engaging and breaking into the news cycle, “be-attitudes” for media relations, and in-depth training on interview practices. There will also be time for Q&A and debriefing.

Living in Colour: Post-abortion counsellor’s training

This two-day course is designed to equip and prepare you to do post-abortion ministry in your unique community, using resources within your reach. Both educational and practical, this course will discuss meeting the post-abortive woman, program options, grief education, problems and pitfalls, resources, training, and facilitation. You will have the opportunity to participate in a small group experience, practice exercises, and role-play.
