Canadian Council of Christian Charities and the Bridgeway Foundation Announce the 10 Best Christian Places to Work in Canada

Today, the Canadian Council of Christian Charities (CCCC) and the Bridgeway Foundation announced the finalists for the 10 Best Christian Places to Work in Canada.

"We are pleased to have a high percentage of first time participants in the survey this year," said John Pellowe, CEO of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities. "Christian leaders have told us that the survey has made a valuable and significant contribution to their workplace and that they are finding this survey a great way of affirming what is going well and what needs attention."

The following organizations were finalists for the year 2005/2006:

"People feel more fulfilled in their sincere quest to serve God when their organizational culture is healthy," said Mark Petersen, Executive Director of the Bridgeway Foundation. "Through this survey employees of the ten finalist organizations have said that their organizations exhibit qualities which cause them to stand out amongst their peers. We congratulate all those associated with these vibrant workplaces."

The survey was sponsored jointly between CCCC and the Bridgeway Foundation. The results were administered and analyzed by the Best Christian Workplace Institute, a Christian human resources research and consulting firm with award winners being chosen by an independent panel of judges.

Finalists will receive awards at the CCCC Annual Christian Leadership & Stewardship Conference in Mississauga, Ontario on September 28, 2005.
