Elmira, ON–Today the Canadian Council of Christian Charities (CCCC) announced the Best Christian Places to Work in Canada spring finalists for 2009. The survey was administered in March to April of 2009 by the Best Christian Workplace Institute (BCWI).
John Pellowe, CEO of CCCC, says the annual survey is contributing to the development of more effective Christian ministries as employees feel better about their work environments. "Several ministries do the survey every year and use the results for corrective action to deal with the issues. They are seeing steady improvement in their scores and are to be commended for their commitment to having excellent Christian workplaces."
Organizations are recognized if they meet a benchmark of excellence. In order to qualify, organizations scored an average of 4.0 out of 5.0 or higher on the survey as a whole.

The survey covers job satisfaction, organizational commitment, Christian witness, supervisory effectiveness, work satisfaction, personal growth and development, management effectiveness, customer/supporter satisfaction, teamwork, communications, pay and benefits.
