Trustee Profile

Structure

CCCC established a multi-employer pension plan effective October 1, 1982 as a benefit for its members. The plan is administered by a board of trustees.

The CCCC Board of Directors appoints the six trustees of the CCCC Employees Pension Plan. Four individuals are appointed to represent members of the Plan, of which one is an employee of CCCC. Two individuals are appointed to represent participating employers.

The trustees of the Plan have engaged the services of Great West Life and Proteus Performance Management to assist with governance and management of the plan.

Board of Trustees

The following are trustees of the Plan:

Gordon Sorensen (Chair)

Gordon has been a trustee since 2003 and is the Foundation Director with Baptist General Conference of Canada. Prior to this, he served as a pastor in a local church for over 30 years.

Nancy Bell

Nancy has been a trustee since 2004 and has recently retired from her position as the Treasurer/Business Manager with Baptist Convention of Ontario & Quebec for over 18 years. She has extensive experience in pension fund management.

Heather Card, CMA

Heather has been a trustee since 2004 and is the Vice President of Member Services for the Canadian Council of Christian Charities. Heather has over 20 years experience in financial management.

June Dryer

June has been a trustee since 2005 and is currently employed with Compassion Canada. June is also a Chartered Life underwriter and a Certified Stewardship Counsellor. June has several years experience in pension plan administration.

Kevin Innis

Kevin was appointed as a trustee in 2006.  He is a Certified Management Accountant and is employed by Kodak Canada as its Business Unit Finance Manager.  Kevin serves as Treasurer with Forestview Church (Oakville) - a Participating Employer in the Plan.  Kevin brings many years of experience with company pension plans to his service as a trustee.

Daryl MacKenzie

Daryl was appointed as a trustee in 2004 and has been the Director of Operations with United Baptist Convention of Atlantic Provinces for over 20 years. Daryl has over 20 years experience in pension fund management and is a fellow with the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
