Law & Religion

The ability of Christian charities to carry out their mission requires a positive legal environment where the rule of law is respected and enforced. The Canadian legal and regulatory environment has a long history of not only respecting the place of Christian charities but encouraging them to play an important role in civil society. Recent trends, however, are questioning the underlying presumptions of society's historical support of religious organizations (and Christian charities in particular). CCCC is attempting to be proactive in producing material that highlights current issues, stimulates discussion, and influences theological, political, and regulatory environments.
