I’ve previously written about living in a hostile society and mistakes that we have made in how we deal with our adversaries. The Evangelical church must become much wiser in how we approach those we disagree with!
John G. Stackhouse Jr. has some wonderful words of wisdom that will help guide us in our relationship with people who can be seen as our ‘enemies’. I highly recommend his blog post to you for a very helpful, positive perspective that may actually win people to your point-of-view.
When confronting disagreements, we must remember that at all times our actions and words are representing the entire church to the public. Make sure they are a positive witness to our faith.
