Educational institutions that provide accredited diplomas (such as religious private schools and separate schools) remain ineligible for Microsoft&#8217;s donations program; instead, please visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/licensing\/licensing-options\/for-industries.aspx#tab=2\" target=\"_blank\">Microsoft&#8217;s Programs for Education<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Additional terms and conditions may apply.\u00a0 Please refer to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.techsoupcanada.ca\/en\/microsoft\/eligibility\" target=\"_blank\">Microsoft\u2019s Program Guidelines<\/a>\u00a0for detailed eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n<p><b>How to Get Microsoft Donations<\/b><br \/>\nThe first step is to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.techsoupcanada.ca\/user\/register\/\" target=\"_blank\">register with TechSoup Canada<\/a>, which is free and only takes a few minutes.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.techsoupcanada.ca\/en\/support\/how-to-register\" target=\"_blank\">Registering<\/a>\u00a0will also give you access to discounts and donations from up to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.techsoupcanada.ca\/en\/directory\/vocabulary\/2\" target=\"_blank\">26 other donor partners<\/a>, which include office productivity suites, graphic design software, accounting packages, and security programs.<\/p>\n<p><b>How Does the Microsoft Program Work?<\/b><br \/>\nThe program uses an allotment cycle, which re-sets every two years, starting from your first donation request.
