You do not have to answer those questions.  Here is what CRA says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2019-02-01<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In December 2018, the rules governing the political activities of registered charities changed as a result of new legislation that permits charities to carry on unlimited\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/programs\/about-canada-revenue-agency-cra\/federal-government-budgets\/budget-2018-equality-growth-strong-middle-class\/public-policy-advocacy-activities-charities.html\">public policy dialogue and development activities<\/a>\u00a0in furtherance of a stated charitable purpose. Under the new rules, the reporting requirements related to a charity\u2019s spending on political activities are no longer relevant. The Canada Revenue Agency is revising\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/forms-publications\/forms\/t3010.html\">Form T3010, Registered Charity Information Return<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/charities-giving\/charities\/whats-new\/ppdda-reporting.html\">Form T2050, Application to Register a Charity under the Income Tax Act<\/a>, and will publish instructions on its webpages soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CRA reports that the reporting requirements on the T3010 for a charity&#8217;s spending on political activities are no longer relevant.
