Did you know that BC\u2019s Recovery and Resiliency Fund for non-profits will launch in June 2022?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The $34 million fund is intended<\/a> to provide \u201csupport for organizations that were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and that continue to struggle during recovery.\u201d The fund will focus on organizations \u201cwhose staff, volunteers, programs and operations have been disproportionately affected\u201d during the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n BC Budget 2022 provides $30 million of the funds, with the remaining $4 million from Vancouver Foundation. The funds will be administered by the Vancouver Foundation and United Way British Columbia. New Relationship Trust<\/a> will administer at least $5 million of the fund specifically for Indigenous communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The fund provides<\/a> \u201cmulti-year, unrestricted grants\u201d to address both \u201cshort- and long-term needs\u201d that provide flexibility for organizations and resources could be used for projects including capacity building, digital infrastructure, staff training and retention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Details, application criteria, and guidelines aren\u2019t yet finalized. \u00a0For updates about when and how you can apply, you can sign up for email updates from Vancouver Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Wondering about how to apply for grants?
