John Pellowe

Rev. John Pellowe

Chief Executive Officer

Serving CCCC and its members since 2003 as CEO, John’s passion is to help Christian churches and agencies become ever more exemplary, healthy, and effective. He believes God’s blessings flow when theology drives strategy and organizational activity and when staff enjoy a vibrant, daily, personal experience of God. Ordained by the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, John has served as pastor, treasurer, deacon, and elder. John holds BBA and MBA degrees from Wilfrid Laurier University, MDiv from Tyndale Seminary, and a DMin from Gordon-Conwell Seminary. John enjoys good conversation, hearing others tell their stories, and reading (a cereal box will do in an emergency). James W. Metcalf

James W. Metcalf

Chief Operating Officer

James joined the CCCC team in February 2015 and as Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for CCCC’s Programs, Services, Operations, and IT. He has over 20 years experience with a major financial institution as a senior leader in Project Management and Program and Loyalty Management. James serves as an elder and bible teacher at his local church, he also sits on a number of boards. He holds a Masters Project Management certification from Ryerson University and York University and a certificate in Innovation and Strategy from York University. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, hiking, gardening, and reading.

Anca Mihaila

Anca Mihaila

Administrative Assistant

As an experienced business administration professional, Anca enjoys serving with organizations that cultivate leaders and develop excellent systems and best practices for healthy and robust culture. An authentic communicator with high emotional intelligence, she thrives when encouraging the heart, and engaging people with integrity and kindness. Her industry experience includes Administration and Human Resources in high-tech, social services, and various faith-based non-profits. Anca serves in a variety of ministries in her local church.

Barbara Bierman

Barbara Bierman

Head of Online Programs, Member Support Team

Barbara has been influencing charities and non-profits in the fields of government relations, policy development, governance and collaborative networks for more than 20 years. Her background in private school administration provided the opportunity to hone a unique skill set. She brings that experience to growing CCCC's online community (the Green) and online learning (Learning Table) as well as being part of the CCCC Member Support Team. Barbara lives in Cambridge with her family, which consists of a church-planting husband, four adult children, one grandchild and one Goldie who thinks he is a child. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, trail cycling, and football.

Benny Bian

Benny Bian

Head of IT

Benny brings over 15 years of IT manager experience and a Master’s Degree from Dalian University of Technology to CCCC. Born again in 2004, he started the second half of his life in Canada in 2007 with his wife and their older son. Benny is grateful for being able to serve God with his gift by contributing to CCCC and churches in China, Kitchener, and Waterloo. Benny likes to skate and play the Chinese game Go. He spends time with his younger son on every PD day. He calls them "Play with Daddy" days.

Bonnie Pillsworth

Bonnie Pillsworth

Executive Assistant

As John’s EA since 2014, Bonnie brings diverse experience to her support of the CEO, applying transferable skills from previous positions in healthcare, banking, law, and technology. She contributes strategically and creatively to the work of the corporate office team. Bonnie values soft skills and most appreciates meaningfulness, unexpected kindness, and clever humour, all of which are in regular supply at CCCC, as well as in her family as they journey through life together. Having lived in France for a year, Bonnie is drawn to French style. She loves a good book, pressed coffee, and a chocolate pastry or two.

Carolyn Innis

Carolyn Innis

Head of Marketing

Carolyn provides leadership to the organization's brand, marketing, and corporate communications. She focuses on creating integrated marketing and communication strategies that support members effectively and enhance their interaction with CCCC. A significant part of her role is to communicate the beneficial work that CCCC does, with the goal of equipping members and reinforcing their positive contributions to the charitable sector. Her background includes expertise in content creation, media, public relations, advertising, digital strategies, and brand development.  Carolyn is actively engaged in her local church and enjoys applying her skills and abilities to support its meaningful work.

Christian Malleck

Christian Malleck

Head of HR, Member Support Team

Christian is dedicated to helping people through complicated situations. After graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University, he obtained a post graduate certificate in Human Resources Management. He has spent years working closely with small businesses and non-profit organizations to help them navigate different areas of HR work. Christian hosts the HR Roundtable for CCCC members and provides customized work. He’s always excited for the opportunity to work with members on solving unique issues and developing customized solutions to help them improve and grow. Christian spends much of his time reading and writing, always finding ways to share his creativity and gifts with others.

Curtis Towns

Curtis Towns

Head of Accreditation, Member Support Team

In his role with CCCC, Curtis provides leadership for CCCC's esteemed Accreditation program and Multi-Employer Pension Plan. He is blessed to empower ministries nationwide through written resources, teaching, and meaningful conversations.

With over two decades of ministry experience and a diverse educational background in missiology, pastoral leadership (BTh), accounting (CPA, CMA), and leadership (MBA), Curtis is dedicated to lifelong learning. Curtis is ordained with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.

Originally from B.C., Curtis and his wife, alongside their four children, now call the Region of Waterloo, Ontario, home, cherishing the opportunity to live a full life together.

David Van Der Molen

David Van Der Molen

Member Support Associate

David has been working for CCCC since 1994. He was born and raised in Jarvis, Ontario. He grew up on a poultry and dairy farm. David attended a residential school for the blind from Grades 1 through 11. In 1992, he graduated from Calvin College, a Christian liberal arts college in Grand Rapids, MI, with a BA degree in English and general communications. David is married with three children, and has a guide dog named Delight. At CCCC, you can find David answering the phones, providing employee benefit price quotes, answering emails, and performing other membership services.

Deina Warren

Deina Warren

Director of Legal Affairs

Deina keeps up to date on legal, regulatory and policy developments for member charities and is in-house counsel to CCCC. She finds constitutional and administrative law fascinating (for real!) and is passionate about religious freedom. Deina went to law school in Ottawa, followed by an LL.M. from Osgoode. She knows firsthand the rewards and challenges of charitable work, having served on a variety of boards. Her spare time is spent with family, baking, running, and training her unruly but adorable rescue dog.

Gilbert Langerak

Gilbert Langerak

Member Support Specialist, Member Support Team

Gil has a Business Administration diploma from Seneca College and a Christian Studies (Business) degree from Redeemer University. He serves with CCCC’s Member Support Team and is a familiar CCCC voice as host for webinars and workshops on various topics and answering members’ calls and emails. Gil has 40 years experience in administrative and leadership positions in both the for-profit and charitable sectors, with over 20 of those in service to members at CCCC.  He is an experienced church treasurer, elder, charity board member, community garden coordinator, and AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO®).

 

 

Jordan Nobel

Project Specialist

Jordan is a PMP certified project management specialist who has led projects in nonprofits and churches across Canada and the USA. With over ten years experience in technical change management he supports our staff with planning, execution and agile development of our products, services and internal operations. Jordan spends his free time at the beach in White Rock, BC where he resides with his wife and two children. 

Kevin Seguin

Kevin Seguin

Head of Administration

Kevin comes to CCCC after most recently spending six years at Shopify where he supported the growth and success of the e-commerce platform and its merchants. He was recognized for his expertise in community building, team processes, fostering trust and collaboration among stakeholders, and designing and delivering engaging and impactful digital content. In 2017, he and his wife founded The Doula Fund. As the Executive Director, he leads this registered charity that provides accessible and inclusive doula services to pregnant people in need. Kevin and his wife live in Niagara along with their three children, dog, and bearded dragon.

Lois Lynn

Lois Lynn

Finance Assistant

Lois can keep books, generate receipts, and provide any music required. She loves the ‘local church’ and is delighted to also serve the Christian community through her employment with CCCC.  Prior to joining CCCC in 1996, she managed the missionary payroll and disbursements for the overseas missions department of the PAOC. She is a piano teacher and trained broadcaster. Her bookkeeping qualifications include college courses and ‘doing’. She is blessed with 12 nieces and nephews and 18 great-nieces and great-nephews. She enjoys life with her pets -- a dog named Marley and a lovebird called Frankie.

Matthew Dilts

IT Specialist

Matt has been working in the IT field for over 10 years and graduated from Niagara College for Computer Programming in 2011. Matt has experience in a wide variety of aspects in the industry including web development, computer programming, and technical support. His passion for helping people drew Matt to CCCC in 2014. As an IT Specialist, Matt takes on many tasks such as providing technical support to staff, ensuring smooth operation of IT infrastructure, and maintaining the online presence of CCCC. Matt resides in Cambridge, ON with his wife and their three children.

Nick Lall

Head of Group Benefits, Member Support Team

Nick joined the CCCC’s team in September 2021 as Head of Group Health Benefits to develop and grow the program as a deep resource in building members’ health, strength and effectivity.

Since graduating from Tyndale University’s Business program, Nick has cultivated his experience as a financial advisor and holds a Chartership in Investment Management (CIM) alongside his experience in Insurance strategy (LLQP). He has nurtured a passion for working with families, professionals, charities and businesses on uncovering the various forms good stewardship can take.

Nick loves wearing many hats at church and is always ready for a game of golf, a good book, or cook-off!

Paul Wolfe

Head of Knowledge and Publications

Paul loves to busily sort and organize anything he can get his hands on. He also has a passion for communicating ideas clearly. He joined CCCC after a decade of helping accountants and engineers sort, refine, and publish their research, innovations, and processes. To sharpen his skills, Paul earned an M.A. in Technical Communication and a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration. Earlier in his career, Paul served as the Executive Director of the Thunder Bay Community Foundation and as a Pastor with the C&MA. He has also lent his time as a volunteer Director for arts, youth, and economic development corporations.  Paul and his wife Jennifer enjoy attending and volunteering at their church in northern Ontario. 

Ryle Cameron

Associate Director of Legal Affairs

Ryle joined CCCC in July of 2022 as the Associate Director of Legal Affairs. After completing law school at the University of Western Ontario and articling at a full-service firm in the KW area, Ryle made the jump to the charitable world. At CCCC, Ryle supports Deina Warren in her role as the Director of Legal Affairs, and together they act as CCCC’s in-house counsel by addressing the various legal and policy developments that impact the charitable sector. When not keeping up with these developments, Ryle enjoys hiking, hopping on cheap flights, and spending time with his nephews.

Wayne Kroeker

Wayne Kroeker

Head of Finance, Member Support Team

Wayne has over 30 years' practical experience in financial management, both in the private and charitable sectors, and holds professional accounting designations (CPA, CGA). Since 2005, Wayne has been serving CCCC members by responding to questions on a broad range of charity topics. He speaks at various conferences and seminars, and researches and creates content for CCCC’s website and publications. He also manages the CCCC’s finance, budget and audit functions, and insurance risks and provides guidance to the CCCC Group Health Benefits programs. Wayne has served extensively as a volunteer, board member, and treasurer in his local church, at the denominational level, and with Christian camps.
