Are you a new board member for a charity and unsure of your legal and fiduciary duties? This micro-course is designed to provide you with a quick overview of the basic responsibilities required of charity board members.
While your passion for the charity's mission may have led you to join the board, it is important to understand how to avoid conflicts of interest (duty of loyalty), ensure proper use of charity resources (duty of care), and comply with expectations (duty of obedience).
In this course, now available on CCCC's Learning Table, you will learn about the 10 basic obligations for charity board members. Upon completion of all topics and a short survey at the end, you will receive a certificate of completion.
