Logistical / Practical Concerns

• What if a participant doesn’t finish their assessment?
  Your report won’t be produced until every team member has responded, so it’s important to encourage everyone to complete the assessment. Automatic reminders are sent at reasonable intervals.
• What happens if a participant loses their email invitation or link?
  If someone needs a link resent, as your team’s primary contact for The Studio, you can ask us to resend the invitation.
• Can I add or remove participants once I’ve purchased access?
  Yes, you can make changes up until you send the invitations. Once your invitations are sent, your list is locked.
• Can I add further participants into the assessment later?
  Yes, but only by reaching out to The Studio team. It’s best to finalize your full list of names before you purchase The Studio so that everyone participates at once.
• What if some participants don’t have regular access to email or technology?
  Because The Studio is a digital assessment, each participant will need an email address and access to a web browser to complete it.
• In addition to a computer, can the assessment be completed on a smartphone or tablet?
  Yes, any device with internet access can be used to complete the assessment.

Team Dynamics & Participation

• What if some of my board and staff members are reluctant to participate?
  Take the time to discuss The Studio with your board and staff members before beginning the process. These conversations will help everyone understand and appreciate the value The Studio brings to your ministry. If needed, The Studio team can provide guidance to help you address their concerns.
• How do I explain The Studio to my team so they understand its value?
  This website has a lot of important information about the value of The Studio to a Christian ministry that you can present to your team. You can also discuss your particular circumstances with The Studio team and receive advice from them.
• Do I need to include our ministry’s volunteers in the assessment, or can I involve only our board and staff members?
  Including volunteers or others in the assessment can enrich the results, but the choice is yours. You could use the volunteer category for any role you wish. We suggest you prayerfully consider who should take part based on your ministry’s unique dynamic.
• For the assessment, do I have to include all five ministry roles (Board Members, Executive Leaders, Managers, Staff Members, and Volunteers)?
  No, any unused roles will simply show up blank in your report.
• What if my organization has only a few people? Will the results still be valid?
  Yes, when just a few people contribute their thoughts, you are still getting the range of perspectives of those who know your ministry. A report from a small team can still be used to discover blind spots or opportunities for growth you might otherwise miss.
• What if one person tries to dominate or influence how others respond?
  Every participant completes the assessment privately, so no one can control how others answer.
• Will participants be able to see each other’s answers?
  No, individual responses are never shared. Only the primary contact receives the report, which shows a summary of the team’s combined answers.

Assessment Content & Process

• What kinds of questions are included in the assessment?
  Each question in the assessment describes a Key Indicator from the CCCC Organizational Design Model and includes an example of how it appears in an ideal Christian organization. To respond, participants select how closely it reflects their ministry.
• What if someone doesn’t understand a question or feels it doesn’t apply?
  Encourage them to give the best answer they can and move on. No single answer will outweigh the whole team’s perspective.
  
  If their answer doesn’t accurately reflect the organization, it may reveal an opportunity for clearer communication to help team members more fully understand and engage with the inner workings of their ministry.
• If a participant is concerned about rating the organization poorly, how should I respond?
  Encourage your participants to be open and honest in their responses. The purpose of this assessment is to capture an accurate snapshot of your ministry right now and to spark reflection and conversation about how you can move forward together stronger. Their honest response will help the ministry become its very best.
• What if a participant really doesn’t know enough to answer a question?
  If participants don’t know enough to answer a question, tell them to rely on their impressions. They can answer with what seems to be the best response.
• What if my team members don’t agree with a question?
  The assessment only asks how well a question’s description describes your ministry. If everyone says it is not a good description because the description is not the way they want the ministry to be, that is a decision the ministry is free to make.
• Do participants need to answer all of the assessment questions?
  Yes, as each question plays a part in capturing a complete and accurate picture of your ministry as it is today.
• Will this assessment give us a “score” or ranking compared to other ministries?
  No, each ministry’s assessment results are private and unique. The assessment is designed to help you reflect on your own ministry’s strengths and opportunities, not to compare with others.

Results & Outcomes

• How will I receive the results?
  The full report will be emailed to you as the primary contact. You’ll then be invited to book a debrief conversation with a member of The Studio’s program team to review the results together.
• Who else will see our results?
  Only you and our program manager. You are free to share your report with anyone you wish. 
• Does CCCC have access to our results? Will our results ever be made public?
  Yes, CCCC has access to assessment results, which are securely stored and handled with complete confidentiality within our team. Your results will never be shared publicly. Your ministry owns its report and can decide how and with whom to share it.
• How detailed is the report? Will it give me clear guidance on how to move forward?
  The report is thorough and insightful, equipping you and your team to decide how to respond and move forward. A member of The Studio’s program team will guide you through the process.
• What happens after we receive the report?
  Take time to reflect, then choose growth areas with guidance from The Studio’s team if you wish.
• Will someone from CCCC help us interpret the results, or is it self-led?
  Your team leads the process and decides how to manage it. The Studio team is here to help you understand the assessment results and start setting priorities for development.
• How can our team turn insights from the report into practical action steps?
  Your debrief call with a member of The Studio team will help you reflect on your results, connect you with resources, and outline next steps tailored to your organization’s priorities. You can then use that information to shape a development plan that best serves your ministry.
• How often should our ministry refresh The Studio assessment?
  Returning to The Studio annually is recommended. After a year, new assessment results will provide updated insight into your ministry and alert you to any blind spots, communication gaps, or new opportunities that may have developed. Maintaining an accurate picture of your organization lays the foundation you need to discern which actions will most strengthen your ministry and how best to achieve them.

Cost & Value

• Do I need to make a separate payment if I decide to add more participants to the assessment?
  Yes, the cost is per individual for each assessment. The payment amount is based on the number of participants in each transaction. Because pricing is tiered, you’ll get the best value by including all your participants in your initial purchase if possible.
• Is there a discount for larger teams?
  Yes, the more people you include, the lower the per-person cost. You can easily estimate the total cost for your team by using the calculator on the Pricing page.
• How is The Studio different from hiring a consultant?
  The Studio is self-led but guided. It is designed to give you, in a fraction of the time, similar depth of insight you’d gain through weeks of consultant interviews. The breadth and comprehensiveness of The Studio assessment and report provide tremendous value at a significantly lower cost.
• What’s the return on investment for my organization?
  The Studio is an affordable way to invest in the foundational strength of your ministry. Its low assessment cost and ease of completion will deliver significant long-term impact as you gain clarity from real data. Spiritual & Cultural Fit

• How is this assessment distinctly Christian?
  The Studio was developed out of CCCC’s decades of experience in bringing Christian perspectives to operational matters such as finances, human resources, and governance. The assessment is based on the CCCC Organizational Design Model, which is rooted in Christian theology and biblical study, as well as in the best of faith-friendly human wisdom. The resulting report is designed to help ministries thrive in faith and practice.
• What biblical principles is The Studio built on?
  Currently, there are 56 devotionals in God’s Workplace on the CCCC’s site that are all related to organizational management matters that are covered by The Studio. More are being added on a regular basis.
  
  The Studio is grounded in biblical principles including unapologetic Christianity, integrity, accountability, stewardship, excellence, servant leadership, and service. It helps ministries live out their faith in practical ways that strengthen their people, their witness, and their mission impact.
• How does The Studio assessment program balance organizational health with spiritual growth?
  They don’t need to be balanced because they are intertwined. Everything we do should give glory to God and be done in accordance with God’s way of doing things. The Studio has a criteria that faith is fused into the organization.
• Will this process strengthen our witness as a Christian ministry?
  Yes, one of The Studio’s key focuses is helping ministries maintain a strong Christian witness in every aspect of organizational life and work. The assessment report highlights both areas of strength and opportunities for growth in this important area.
