Submission from Harry White, Chief Executive Officer, Ray of Hope
This video is really about two stories, a personal one about my (Harry Whyte) journey from working in the business world to the leadership of Ray of Hope and some of the lessons God has taught me along the way, as well as the story about Ray of Hope and the ministry it has in our Kitchener Waterloo community. That is a history of 50 years of ministry that was birthed in the heart of our Founder Armand Wright and a group of faithful believers who responded to the need to support young men in trouble with the law and caught up in the penal system. It is also the story of how God has brought people together over the years to respond to other needs in our community and they have found a home in Ray of Hope, either as staff or volunteers, “demonstrating the love of Christ with those who are marginalized, disadvantaged or troubled.”
