In times of uncertainty we can come together as brothers and sisters in Christ to lift up our voices in prayer. In an email of thankfulness (more on this in my next post!), one of our CCCC staff expressed gratitude that we have a God we can pray to for comfort, strength and wisdom. Even if we’re feeling alone we have a friend who is always there for us, no matter our circumstances.

Our friends at The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada have called for a Global Day of Prayer and Fasting this Sunday, March 29. We encourage you to participate.

As Paul exhorts us in Philippians 4,

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness[d] be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Church and charity leaders are invited to share how they are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic within their organization in our online community forum The Green: COVID-19 Response Room.
